The registration of the participants
The festival is a non-commercial action. The registration and the consideration of all the applications are free of charge. The admission for demonstrations is free of charge as well.
The film categories
The categories according to which the film can be accepted are as following:

Term of application
The films of all categories can be accepted for the consideration till the 15th of October, 2008. Transfer and insurance expenditures are the responsibilities of the sender. The copy of your film on DVD or VHS is left in the festival archive. Please, make sure to write "No commercial value" on the envelope.
Requirements:
1) there must be two copies of the film on DVD or VHS for the film selection and for jury consideration;
2) films that are made on the film of 35mm or 16mm or any other format can be accepted in the DVD/miniDV/DVCAM, VHS PAL format;
3) the copies of the films will be left in the archive and won't be sent back;
4) don't send the original of the film, just its copy;
5) the films are accepted in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, French. If the film is made in any other language there is a need in the English subtitles;
6) all the participants will be informed whether they are accepted by a month before the festival beginning;
7) the accepted participants must afford the necessary materials for the project advertisement on the festival (two DVD copies of the film with film advertisement for jury and media, production print and digital advertising photos made from film or video);
8) all participating films will be indicated in the festival program and advertised with the given metrial till its beginning. That is why the participant should inform the organizers of the festival about any change in the contact information, premiere status etc.;
9) the festival has a copyright for 3-minute advertisement broadcasting of the film on local, national or international television or radio;
10) the applications don't have any restrictions (till the expenditure date) and are accepted from the whole world;
11) the copy of the film should be labeled with the following information: the country of production, year, title, director, producer and script writer and the running time of the film;
12) all materials should be compensated including the customs taxes.
Everybody is welcome to become the guest of the festival.

Human rights:
- government, power, bureaucracy;

- war (arming race);
- capital punishment;
- state legislation;
- health;
- poverty;
- education;
- media (censorship, interference of media into private life, freedom of speech);
- prison, prisoners rights, veterans;
- racism;
- religion;
- prostitution;
- suicides;
- disabled persons;
- cruel treatment of children;
- children's enslavement;
- children who escape from homes;
- delinquents, penal colonies;
- cruelty of children;
- enslavement;
- ravishment, sexual abuse;
- non traditional sexual orientation;

- workers' rights;
- alcohol, drugs, addiction;
- crimes;
- cultural diversity;
- immigration;
- mental diseases.
Animals' rights:
- agricultural animals, intensive methods of growing;
- wild animals, species preservation that are on the brink of extinction;
- hunting;
- bioethics;
- vegetarianism, veganism;
- animals for food industry, meat industry;
- animals for clothing (fur industry etc.);
- experimentations on animals;
- animal fighting (corrida, dog fighting etc.);
- circus, zoos;
- homeless animals;
- pets;
- sterilization of animals, overpopulation;
- cruel treatment of animals;
- shelters;
- animals protecting laws.
Environmental problems:
- water pollution;
- air pollution;
- deforestation;
- global warming, ozone layer destroying;
- world ocean pollution;
- extinct flora/fauna preservation;
- alternative sources of energy;
- landscape preservation;
- toxic chemicals, dumps.
Some films which are selected for festival as well as winner-films might be included into "Echo of the festival" (the travelling program of the festival).
Festival asks you to use its logo in the case of the winning in nomination. The logo will be given.
